[XForms] problem with autoconf in RH9

Hi,

I've just downloaded the source from CVS depository, using:

  cvs -d:pserver:anoncvs at subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/xforms login
  cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anoncvs at subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/xforms co .

Contrary to what I found in the INSTALL file, the downloaded tree lacks
'configure' script so I ran "autoconf". Unfortunately, it failed saying:

>autoconf

configure.ac:29: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONDITIONAL
configure.ac:52: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_LIBTOOL_WIN32_DLL
configure.ac:53: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LIBTOOL

The system is RedHat 9 Linux, kernel 2.4.20-20.9, glibc-2.3.2-27.9,
autoconf-2.57-3, libtool-1.4.3-5.

Any ideas, hints?
