[XForms] fdesign

Hi.

While attempting to create the necessary .c and .h files on an intermediary
UNIX machine (between the PC and the VMS machine where I'm trying to do
builds) and yes, I confess, using an old version of fdesign in convert mode
to create the .c & .h files from the 1.0.90 .fd's, I ran into problems with
3 of the .fd's. I got a core dump while attempting this on the following
files (in demos/fd):

formbrowser_gui.fd
is_gui.fd
twheel_gui.fd

I did dbx on 2 of the 3 cores and it apparently aborted in XQueryPointer.

I used the old fdesign because I thought it would save time, since I have
not built the fdesign with the 1.0.90 source.

I don't have automake on the UNIX machine I was using, so I guess I should
put it there. Once, that's done, how do I build something in a given
directory (such as xforms/fdesign)? I have the necessary source there (on
UNIX) already.

Or would it be better just to copy the .c's and .h's I have down to the VMS
machine and just not build the demos that involve those 3 files that caused
the core dumps?

Thanks,
Gayle
