[XForms] CygWin and Xforms 1.0.2

I have been trying to get this version of xforms fully functional under Cygwin 
and now is time for enabling the GL demos. Configure can't find the glx header
file even though GL is installed and  glx.h and other GL files seem to exist
inside the "C:\cygwin\usr\X11R6\include\GL" folder. 

Could this be a path issue? But why doesn't GL get searched but the rest of
the stuff does?

Doesn't configure know where the GL stuff exists?

Any help here is appreciated...it must be something I'm over looking.
