I am thinking about adding a shadow to the line dial
and making the dot into a small 3D arrow in normal dial.
Would that make you happy ?

Thumbwheel (I assume the one SGI has) would be cool.

I think what is missing from positioner is an XOR
move option. With XOR move option, adding things,
be it pixmap or vector graphics, to the backdrop would be
easier. Good suggestion.

I haven't had the time to really look into DnD. Looks like OffiX
is something we can use. Helmut Hohr had written some code
that does DnD with xforms (using OffiX), I will look into
that hopefully soon.

NT port did not pan out the first time. Now there are
new efforts underway and I have confidence that we'll
see first working (alpha) NT port around the end of the year.
