I used it and it worked "almost" fine. I have some troubles with Exposes,
it seems, but i don't know if they originate from the X server (true that
my non-xform window does not show the problems).
Can you give more details? What does it mean "bomb out"? What does it say?
Which X server you use? etc etc...
