XForms: sscanf strange behaviour

    Hi,

    I'm trying to port a XForms / OpenGL application from SGI to SuSE Linux 7.0.
    From the moment I call fl_initialize, sscanf and fscanf don't scan floating
    point numbers properly any more.
    I'm using XForms static library 0.89 (because the dynamic library doesn't
    contain any glcanvas related functions, why?) and mesa 3.2.

    Any ideas? Thanks!
