    Unless there's something broken in your libc, I see no reason for this
    happening. Can you provide test code?

    The dynamic library doesn't contain any GLCanvas stuff so that you can
    run XForms applications without having OpenGL/Mesa3D. The loader
    insists on resolving those functions even if they're not being used,
    otherwise.
