# To subscribers of the xforms list from Marco Bravi <bravi@ingchim.ing.uniroma1.it> :
Dear XForms users,
I installed an old Sparcstation 2 (this is a sun4c
architecture) just yesterday with Debian Linux 2.2. Since I would like to
recompile all my laboratory software on this new-old :)) workstation, I
got the bxform-0.88.tgz file from
ftp://ncmir.ucsd.edu/pub/xforms/linux-sparc/.
I installed it (in /usr/local), run ldconfig, tried to launch fdesign and
got an "Illegal instruction" message. The same happens when I try to
launch fs2ps.
I tried to compile a simple program of my own, but the link failed with
the following error:
/usr/local/lib/libforms.so: undefined reference to `_xstat'
Do you have any clue why I may get these error messages?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Marco Bravi
