    # To subscribers of the xforms list from "Rouben Rostamian" <rostamian@umbc.edu> :

A colleague who uses the Red Hat distribution of xforms on Linux
has brought the following to my attention. The header file forms.h
gets installed in /usr/X11R6/include/forms.h. This is by no means
a standard directory. In most distributions this directory contains
only sub-directories, such as X11/ and Xaw3d/, but no regular files.

Is there a reason for not putting forms.h in /usr/include, like
all other header files? If there is an agreement in this forum
about a proper installation location, then perhaps Dirk Koopman,
who builds the rpm according to the info below, can be requested
    to reconsider the packaging.

Below is the info regarding the xforms-devel package which I have installed on my home machine. This package is part of the contrib on the RedHat or Metalab site.

    Hope this helps,
