Forget it. The XSendEvent stuff makes it impossible to interact with 
the menu in demos/popup.

Incidentally, both demos/popup and demos/pup have a different 
behaviour to popups in LyX.

It breaks the popup code (popup and pup) in the demos directory. 
Incidentally, both these demos behave differently to popups in LyX.
