In that case I'd expect a different message than undefined symbol --
more like "no such file or directory" or the like.
If you link libforms.a I believe you also need to link libXpm.a -- I'm
at home now and can't easily check it. If you're turning up with
anything like
XpmAttributeSize
XpmCreatePixmapFromData
XpmFreeAttributes
XpmLibraryVersion
XpmReadFileToPixmap
or so forth, then that's the problem. I should have thought of it
before.
