I don't know if MIX's server was updated recently, but when I tried it the
last time (some 6 months ago) it was unable to handle my application. I
can't remember the message, but it went bang real hard.
Personally I use the demo version of Xwin-32 from StarNet. You can check:

http://www.rahul.net/kenton/xsites.html

for a comprehensive list of X servers for win.

Hmmm....I have only one PC so I can't test that. Did you allow access to
the X display? You can do an "xhost +" (on the linux box) to disable
access control.

I had used Cygwin 20 (not .1) with the Xlibs compiled by Andy Piper (link
is in the "related sites" page of Cygwin's home).
I'd offer to try a compile and run on my PC if it weren't that when I
upgraded my motherboard win95 went bang and I had to reinstall....and
since I didn't need to do any XForms compilation I didn't reinstall the
Cygwin environment.....

Bye,
Alberto
